70% of Japan Shellfish Products Exported to China

Japan fresh food exports are expanding. From January to July 2015, within Asia, exports of agricultural and livestock products, such as fruits and vegetables, eggs, rose 40% from the same period in 2014. The export of aquatic products rose 30%. Shellfish exports grew 53%, increasing to 63,000 tons, 70% of which is exported to mainland China.
